I created Dead On in 2017 as a communal artist-run studio with the aim to push creative boundaries for artists and the community. During its five-year existence, the collective provided much-needed space for emerging creative professionals to create and develop their practices, and to facilitate various opportunities for like-minded individuals to connect and collaborate. Our vision was to help build a unified network of emerging professional artists, and to contribute to the ongoing development of innovative and dynamic contemporary art in the local creative sector.

Website

As with any website, I wanted to create a website that was easy and enjoyable to navigate. I also wanted to convey some level of mysterious intrigue and style.

The website is still live for your viewing pleasure.

Merch

In addition to creating the designs, I also manufactured the merchandise pictured here. At the time I was working at a print shop running a large format printer/vinyl cutter and preparing artwork for screen printing.

Event Posters

Over the 5 year run of Dead On, I took on whatever role I needed to keep the studio running. Muralist, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Social Media Marketer, Web Store Manager, Brand Ambassador, Operations Director, Event Planner, Accountant, Tenant Manager, Builder, Recruiter, and more, I did everything. Dead On was a labour of love and I had to get creative to keep the studio doors open.
